Detox means…
A process or period of time in which one abstains from or rids the body of toxic or unhealthy substances.
I don't believe in detoxes. They are bullshit galore. Here's why.
You got organs. They do shit.
Drink water = Kidney Cleanse
Breathe = Lung Cleanse
Sweat or Loofah = Skin Cleanse
Get Your Poop Regular = Colon Cleanse
Pee = Liver Cleanse
Seriously. Just let your body do it's damn thing.
But, you probably could stand a Brain Cleanse and that I can get behind.
Your eyes feast all day on stuff. You want to make sure that what it takes in will help you live that best life. Help you feel good about yourself, motivate you and more.
That's where the social media detox comes in.
It's simple.
See Normal Bodies = Appreciating Your Body
See All Sizes Doing Amazing Things = Believing You Can Do Amazing Things
If you've got a bunch of crap in your social media feeds, then you likely have a lot of crap between your ears, too.
Today's podcast goes into why you need to change up the shit you see.
I share some of my favorite social pages and talk about one of the best books I've read recently, The Body Is Not An Apology.
You can find the books I'm reading at pnp411.com/faves.
