Today we talk about how we tend to overuse the word “should.” Our husbands should do this, our weight loss should be faster, our bodies should be smoking hot!

If you think that if people would just act a certain way you’d be happier, you’d be thin, and the world would be a better place, then take notes! The problem isn’t with them…it’s all with you.

This podcast will show you where you are placing unnecessary expectations on others in your life to give you validation that you are making the best decisions for you.

When I wake up in the morning, it’s not easy for me to go to positive thoughts first thing.

It’s easy for me to go to what’s wrong! But I just don’t allow it anymore. There’s just no positive benefit!

I practice the positive thoughts it takes to get me going in the right direction each day.

I challenge people to start being aware of the internal dialog all the time.

You have to get a handle on how you’re talking to yourself.

It’s time to retrain your brain to start looking for what’s going right in your life.
