We all make excuses.
It’s human nature to find the reasons why we can’t lose weight more than the reasons why we CAN lose weight.
Nothing is wrong with you when you use excuses. But excuses don’t HELP you either.

Why? It’s important to know what’s broke before you try to fix things.
If you use excuses then no food plan will be able to compete with their power.
So, what are Noble Obstacles? It’s a concept defined by Jon Acuff in his book Finish. These are the excuses we use that sound SOOOO GOOD but in all honesty they just keep us from doing the hard work of weightloss.
I see this all the time in my Tribe.
Women are running around taking care of the kids, the husband, the job, and the dog, all at the expense of their own health and well being.
Think about it. If losing weight means you have to put your kids last who the hell is going to sign up for that? No one. The problem is this: our children should not be an excuse to eat cheeseburgers.
Y’all…last time I checked McDonald served damn salads.
