Episode 97: Three Things You Must Know to Stick To Your Diet

I read The 5 Am Club a couple of weeks ago.

I took eight pages of notes, read it in a day and a half, started getting up at 4:30 a.m. every day, and one morning I seriously thought…

“I’m getting 5 am tatted under my Strength tattoo.”

No shit. Maybe I was on my second cup of coffee with MCT oil pulsing through the veins but I still seriously contemplated it.

I’ve had some clients not dig it as much as me. That’s OK. They all said, “I bet Corinne will teach us the gold in it. She knows what we need to know.” You girls are RIGHT!

I did a Facebook Live not long ago on his thoughts around journaling.Make sure you listen to that one in the podcast. Click here to listen now.

If you still are on the fence about what to journal about or why you need to do it, I clear that shit right up.

Today’s podcast I give you more of the good stuff.

Robin Sharma writes about five things you must do to make habits stick.

He probably worded it way more eloquently, but I’m a redneck from God’s country and I took what he had to say and talked about it in the only way I know how.  Sassy, southern and swearing just how my Momma raised me.

The podcast will teach you the THREE things I want you to know to STICK to your diet.

  1. How to build determination becausewe ain’t born with it!
  2. What creating disruption is and how it builds discipline. We aren’t born with that either.
  3. The one thing you have to know when it comes to overeating.

I came across your postcast on Facebook last night and listened to this episode today. For the very first time in the 10 years Inhave been trying desperately to lose weight all I kept thinking was “omfg someone GETS IT”. I was ready theoygh parts of it.. it ALL his home. It was ALL what I needed to hear. I am exhausted by counting points and calories only to stop for a Whopper Jr because it just seemed right, or I was tired. Or running late. Or I worked hard. Or I was stressed out. Non then spend the rest of the day and night kicking my own ass for doing it. The viscous circle of making a bad choice and then making another because you feel so terrible and are clearly only capabale of making bad choices. I immediately got on your waiting list and am hoping I can manage the fee when it opens. You are a true inspiration and exactly what I need right now. Btw..I just cancelled my weight watchers membership,

Hi Corrine! Great and helpful podcast today!! Took notes and going to apply the determination to my goals. Abstract thought: When you were talking about going to bed with all your clothes on, I was wondering if it was because you didn’t like getting into a cold bed? I don’t unless it’s summer. My mother bought me a heated mattress cover as a Christmas gift about 10 years ago. It is THE BEST!!!! You put it on your mattress under your sheets. It has a dial control for the heat setting. You turn it on an hour before going to bed. There is nothing better then getting into a toasty warm bed in the middle of winter when your house is cool!!! Depending on your bed size, they even have dual control so you and your hubby can control your own temperature. I absolutely LOVE mine!! They aren’t overly expensive and you can get them at places like Walmart or Target. Even on-line. Just thought I’d share. Might help, so you don’t have that pile of clothes on your floor in the morning. 🙂
