Losing weight is tough. Let’s be honest here. If it was easy we would all be thin, fabulous, and kicking ass.

But, we make losing weight VERY HARD when we get caught up in thinking of all the weight we need to lose.

This is going to take so long.

I’ve failed so many times.

I have so much to lose.

I have so far to go.

I remember being 250lbs. and it was hard. I assure you that I didn’t need any more crap piled on my journey. And, by crap I mean getting my own stinking thinking about how long it was going to take and how far I had to go.

I remember telling myself that I refused to think about anything other than, “What I am doing today that’s better than yesterday?”

See, your feelings of overwhelm DIE when you are doing something. Overwhelm thrives when you are spending your mental energy thinking about the future instead of brainstorming what is the next step.
