What If I Gain Weight?

What If I Gain Weight?

So many people base decisions on the WORST that can happen.

And the worst that can happen is usually WRONG.

I have my Tribe members plan their food one day at a time. They often don't want to.

I ask what's the worst that can happen if you plan food for tomorrow?

They'll tell me all about not liking what they plan, they will gain weight anyway, what they plan won't be good enough to lose, and more.

I am like ummmm…no. That's not the WORST thing that can happen.

The worst thing that can happen is you will plan and NOT allow any of that stuff to happen for FEAR that some or all of it will happen.

Practicing fear based thinking is the worst thing that can happen.

If you don't like what you plan you know what not to plan next week. You can practice not needing an orgasm with every meal.

If you gain weight you know those foods didn't work.

You might learn how to practice tweaking plans, showing up when you don't want to, and more.

So next time you are bypassing doing things you know LOGICALLY will work out in the end…

Remind yourself that fear is not a good reason to stop. It's a good sign you are on the right track.

    Hi Corinne,

I’m a big fan of your podcast and have listened to every episode (many of them more than once). I also love that you replay your Facebook lives on the podcast as I live outside the USA and the time difference means I can’t listen live. I have a question which I hope you might be able to address on one of your lives.

I struggle to stay on plan when I’m tired. Not the normal end of the day tired, that I’ve got sorted, but the day-after-a-big-party tired, or the I’ve-been-driving-for-the-whole-day tired.

I’ve done some thought work on this today, and the shitty thoughts I’ve identified are ‘it’s so much harder to stick to a plan when I’m tired’ which quickly leads on to ‘just this once’ thinking.

I’ve also written a list of strategies to put in for place next time. I’d love to know your thoughts on this and how you would handle it.

Thanks for all your amazing free content

    Hanna

P.S. I love it when you talk about the ‘cheat foods’ (ding dongs, tater tots etc). We don’t have any of those things over here and all the names are hilarious!

Hi, I'm Corinne

I lost 100 pounds and get what it is like to be overweight and feel defeated. I did a complete mental and physical transformation and now I teach women how to do the EXACT same thing. You can get started today with the free course.
