The Coffee I Drink Instead of Breakfast

I have a special coffee blend I am drinking that replaces my breakfast. The top questions I got in this video were:

  1. How do you make the coffee?
  2. Where do I get the Cacoa Butter?
  3. Do you eat breakfast?
  4. Do you do fasting days?
  5. Will it help me lose weight?

I also talk about my personal STANK sex drive and focus issues, what I have done to get that mess taken care of and more. The coffee helps but I go into mindset stuff I practice and advise: Find your why, commit to what you know you will do, and then anticipate the LACK OF FOCUS  and sit with it.

Don't worry. I give you a lot of detail on that process.

How do you make the coffee?
Here's the brief answers but I highly encourage you to watch the video so you can see how to make it. Start at 1:24 and I'm done making it by min. 4.

  • 16 oz of coffee (that's what I use)
  • 1 tsp of Cacoa Butter
  • 1 tbsp of canned coconut milk
  • 2 packets of Splenda (you don't have to use sweetener but don't use sugar – you'll stop the fat burning purpose once you introduce any sugar)

Where do I get the Cacoa Butter?
You can order it here. Once I get it, I put in my food processor and make a grainy powder out of it. Just makes measuring easier. And, girl, it will smell like a batch of chocolate!

Do you eat breakfast?
I do but not until 10-11 am each day. I basically eat between 10 and 6 each day. Some days I'm busy and don't eat until 11am. There are times I am stuck in afternoon traffic and don't eat until 7pm. I'm very comfortable with not being perfect but just rolling with my goal of 10-6pm.

The coffee is what I do in the mornings for pre- and post-workout. And I workout pretty hard and noticed NO decline in that.

Do you do fasting days?
No. Maybe I will one day but I like this and it's totally doable. Helps me think about food less which I love.

Will it help me lose weight?
It can! I've lost 5lbs the last month which was a goal for me. My weight has creeped up a little in my 40's and now I'm creeping it down! LOL.

But, you still have to do like I teach my PNPTribe members: eat only until satisfied, focus on foods that fuel your body, and add in joy food 10% of your week. This just makes planning easier, adds great fats to your diet that burn fat, and allows you to have a few guidelines that are easy to implement.

My Tribe members, and I talk about this in the video, go through a program where they learn how to lose weight FIRST by not counting calories, understanding the kind of eating they are doing, and all the mindset work it takes to lose weight. You get your mind on board and the body follows. Fat burning coffee is just something to use while you are working on your diet mindset.

If you go to my site, www.pnptribe.com I have all the info on exactly what I teach my girls.

Click here to watch the video. Enjoy! Let me know if you try the coffee!

I don’t drink caffeine. Would this be just as effective with caffeine free coffee?

    • Corinne Crabtree on August 14, 2019 at 1:22 PM

Yup! Works just fine with decaf.

The bulletproof cacao powder is out of stock but I noticed you have cocao butter chips on the store.. is that a replacement? Also, the brain octane — I don’t recall seeing you use it in your video (but could have missed it). just wondering about the stuff in your store vs. the recipe.

    • Corinne Crabtree on August 14, 2019 at 1:26 PM

Brain octane oil works fine too.

What if you don’t like coffee ?

  6. Yolie on April 12, 2019 at 11:04 AM

You say it replaces your breakfast and then you say you have breakfast around 10-11. Are you having 3 meals or only 2?

    • Corinne Crabtree on April 17, 2019 at 3:21 PM

2 meals, and a snack if i”m hungry or planned a snack.

    Why only canned coconut milk?

I’m so excited to start, I need more information

I am excited to try this coffee, but I’m wondering about the saturated fat in the cacoa butter. Is it something to be concerned about related to cholesterol and heart health?

I have been so excited about this program but cannot seem to get the free course or signed up for anything- very frustrating
    Please help

Recent groupie, already on the waitlist for March.
Can I ask… what time do you go to bed?? If you don’t eat after 6pm, how are you not hungry afterwards or sooner in the morning? How many meals per day do you take?

Is there a specific way you make your coffee up ahead of time to use in this recipe?

Also, is bagged Cacao Powder the same as the Cacao Butter that you then grind down into a powder?

    Thank you very much!

    • Corinne Crabtree on September 28, 2017 at 6:59 AM

I do grind it down in my food processor. Pulse function! I don’t make mine ahead of time or it clumps.

  13. Melanie on June 30, 2017 at 12:25 PM

It is against my religion to drink coffee. Any substitutes

    • Corinne Crabtree on June 30, 2017 at 1:53 PM

      Hot tea!

      • Nanee on June 1, 2019 at 1:42 AM

Anything else? Must it be regular tea or can it be herbal? Is it the caffeine in the hot drink that is important?

        • Corinne Crabtree on June 17, 2019 at 10:30 AM

You can use any tea you like. The hot is so it melts and doesn’t clump.

    • Roz Smith on July 28, 2019 at 9:06 AM

      Try herbal teas
