I get lots of questions daily. This video is full of GREAT questions and my ON POINT answers.
I'm afraid I'm too old to lose weight. Do you think it's possible?
I feel like I need to “prove” to myself I can lose weight before I lose weight. Do you think is a good idea?
I don't have 100lbs. to lose. Am I welcome inside PNPTribe?
What if I can't plan my food because I never know where or when I'll be eating?
These are just a few questions.

January 1st Facebook Live: Q and A Day!
Go to www.pnp411.com to sign up for Corinne’s free weightloss course.
Corinne has been doing a lot of free trainings for the people on her email list this week. The tribe is open right now and membership closes on Saturday, January 4th. The tribe won’t open again till later in 2020.
Corinne teaches her tribe how to be committed and how to know when you’re not committed. Deciding to lose weight is the easy part. The hardest part is when adversity hits and that’s when commitment either shows up or doesn’t. In that moment, you have to decide if you want to try to be the person you want to be or continue to be who you always have been.
There is nothing like weightloss that will bring up every issue that we have. If you don’t like your life and you’ve been eating to compensate, you better figure out how to find joy because your life will still be there.
The process to lose weight means that you’ll have to learn to love your life as much as you say you enjoy food. That is where the real work is.
The way to solve emotional eating is by looking at your life and deciding how you want to think about it.
Don’t describe your life as “have-to” or as hard. Tell yourself that you choose to do things (not that you have to), that makes you feel powerful and amazing.
If you’re an emotional eater, you describe your eating life and it sounds fun, but then you describe your real life as hard. If your eating life and real life are that different, then you have work to do.
Corinne works hard on PNP and there are days that she doesn’t get to leave her house, but she doesn’t describe her life as terrible. When she goes to bed at night, she’s not tired because of her own bullshit, she’s tired because all day long she challenged herself to love her life. It is a privilege to take care of your child and to work hard at your job.
Diet programs don’t teach you how to deal with life, just what to eat. If you don’t learn to deal with your life, then it doesn’t matter what food plan you try.
Corinne has been through a lot of shit in her life, but when she decided to lose weight, it was because she quit using her past as an excuse. She had to create a way to love her life without a cookie in her mouth. You have to learn how to love your experience in this world more than the food.
You losing weight will never change your life. You have to do the work to love your life as is, right now. You can’t keep losing weight by eating a prescribed diet. You have to learn to love how you’re doing it and create what you want.
Give yourself credit for how you show up in the world. Don’t look to other people to give you credit. Other people are worried about themselves. You’ll never lose weight if you’re waiting for someone else to build you up and acknowledge you. You have to take ownership of yourself. You have to let other people be who they want to be. You not being able to lose weight has nothing to do with your husband eating pizza every day. You have to be committed to make a new life for yourself and allow others to do what they want.
Another reason people aren’t ready to lose weight is because they aren’t ready to be vulnerable or emotional. You have to learn to feel your emotions. Feel your shit.
Questions & Answers
Q. I’m worried that making small changes won’t do the trick since I only have 40 pounds to lose.
A. Get over that. You haven’t been making changes and you still have 40 pounds to lose. Our brains like to think that small changes aren’t enough. Small changes work. Don’t do diets that require a cheat day. They show your brain that overeating in abundance is the fun part of your week. You need to be able to enjoy your life, not salivate all week for a meal where you can stuff your face with whatever you want. This will cause your brain to think that losing weight is miserable and hard. Pleasure does not come from stuffing your face.
Q. How do you keep the commitment when the newness wears off or the soreness (from exercise) kicks in?
A. When you first start anything it’s about motivation and excitement. That will wear off. The tribe has a lesson called “Compelling Reason” in the Planner course. It is everything. Once motivation dies off, your purpose or your why has to kick in. You need to start looking at all the things your mind is saying “this is boring.” It is then that you can attach your why’s to what you’re doing. Instead of relying on motivation or excitement, rely on commitment, passion, and purpose. Decide that the version of you that loses weight doesn’t rely on excitement or motivation. Who do you need to be when motivation isn’t there? Regarding the exercise soreness, that will only last the first couple of weeks and then it will get better.
Q. Can you address meal planning?
A. For tribe members, we have a “Foodies” subgroup available. Corinne doesn’t create meal plans, she works to help you deal with the mental side of things.
Q. Can you give me an overview of what PNP offers?
A. Corinne does at least one live coaching call each week. For the first 60 days of 2020, she’s providing the group with a short training video each day. There are coaches office hours once a week for two hours. She has multiple courses available.
Q. How will I know when I’m being too easy on myself and when I’m being realistic?
A. Stop saying “I’m being too easy on myself” that implies that you should be hard on yourself at times or have feelings of shame. Be realistic, weigh in once a week. If you’re not losing weight, then turn it up a little notch. Over time, you’ll build the skill of doing what you say you will do and you’ll get good at experimenting and assessing. Don’t be an asshole to yourself. Break that habit. For those with negative thinking, how is that working for you? Are you sure that’s helping you to get results long-term?
Q. What are your thoughts on not having a planned joy if you ate off-plan? Would that be considered a punishment?
A. You have to decide that. What is the conversation you’re having with yourself? What was your thinking behind your overeat or off-plan eat? The food you choose to eat should come from a place of love, compassion, and be results-driven. You have to learn to lose weight for life, not lose weight for now. What is driving your action to eat or not eat?
Q. Childhood trauma causes me to eat. I keep the fluff on because people I don’t want people to notice me.
A. Childhood trauma does not cause you to eat. You have created this story. You keep the fluff on because you choose to eat. Your past will not come back. So what if people notice you, what is the worst that is going to happen? Most fear is imagined fear. You need to rationalize your fears. A lot of people have past trauma, but it is over now. You have to decide if you want to continue to traumatize yourself or start creating the life that you want.
Q. I’m so ashamed of myself. I wonder if I would be more successful if I was just honest with other people about my weight and my goals. I get upset when people aren’t supporting me and making it harder for me.
A. You can lose weight and never tell anyone anything. Why are you ashamed? Who cares if anyone else knows. People aren’t there to support you. They are there for themselves. You have to support yourself, not depend on other people. You have to have your own back. When other people are eating “junk” around you, you have to love yourself enough to choose different. That’s on you. This is your journey, not anyone else’s. It is ridiculous to think other people have to change who they are in order for you to be successful. Don’t make them responsible for your choices.
Q. Can you speak to those of us that are perfectionists?
A. You should read the book “Finish” by Jon Acuff. You may always think what you’re doing isn’t good enough, but you have to keep moving forward. Just because you think something isn’t good enough, doesn’t mean that you have to believe it.
Q. If you had weightloss surgery, is the food planning the same? 3 meals a day?
A. The tribe has a subgroup for ladies that have had weightloss surgery. Corinne doesn’t say that you have to eat 3 meals a day, but to eat when you’re hungry and stop when you’re full.
Q. Can you talk about the best way to use the habit tracker?
A. It’s in the planner, fill it out throughout the month. At the end of the month, find the area that isn’t 100% yet and focus on that for the next month. You can’t do 80% of the things and expect 100% results.
Q. I’ve been listening to my body and not getting hungry till 10:30am, but my lunch isn’t until 11:30am. Should I have a snack at 10:30am and eat during my lunch or just wait?
A. It’s up to you. Hunger is not an emergency. There’s no right or wrong.
Q. I’m not sure about joining the tribe because I don’t have the time to journal or listen to the calls if I join the tribe.
A. Journaling takes 5 minutes a day. If you don’t have 5 minutes, you need to seriously take a look at your life. You need to draw a line in the sand with the excuses that you are making up about your life. If you’re choosing that life, be honest about it. Don’t make excuses about not being able to journal for 5 minutes. If you don’t want to do it, be honest and say that. Don’t say that you don’t have time, that’s an excuse. All of the calls are available in a private member podcast. Just listen to the ones that interest you. You don’t have to listen to every single second of tribe content. Corinne gets so upset when she gets more emotional over your weightloss than you are. Don’t let your excuses be more important than what you want in this life.
Q. Can you talk about the accountability groups?
A. When you join, there is a section in the tribe called “Ask Coaches” where you can ask a question at any time. There are also a section to request an accountability group. PNP will help to set you up with a group and then it is your responsibility to check-in with your group. There is also the Facebook private community and there are subgroups under it. Subgroups such as “55+” “Foodies” “Exercise” “Moms of Unique Children” and other groups. There are 33 mentors that help to run the subgroups.
Q. I’m a brand new member, I need to start the © No B.S. Weightloss Course, but there seems to be so much PNP content.
A. Don’t worry about the free stuff, focus on the course. Make sure you are going through © No B.S. Weightloss Course, everything else is optional, but No B.S. is most important. The Hunger Scale and Planning are the longest sections, everything else is shorter. Some lessons have worksheets, but not all of them do. The worksheets don’t take forever. When you’re done with No B.S., scroll through the other content available and pick what seems interesting. You have to join the tribe to get the planner, the course, and the worksheets.
Q. Are the subgroups only available to members?
A. Yes, we no longer have a free group anymore. If you want to be in a group with Corinne, you have to join the tribe.
Q. How much is it to join the tribe?
A. Go to www.pnptribe.com and you’ll find out all the information that you need.
Q. Do you do one-on-one coaching or is it group coaching?
A. It is one-on-one within a group. Everyone on the call gets to watch you get coached. You’d be amazed at how much you get out of watching someone else get coached.
Q. What’s the difference between PNP and any other weightloss group?
A. Corinne teaches women how to lose their mental weight and their physical weight. She teaches you how to show up differently for your life and for your relationships. She helps you to work on your relationship with yourself. She doesn’t give out meal plans or have you count calories. She wants you to learn to trust and listen to your body by eating when you’re hungry and stopping when you’re full.
The free workshop comes down on Saturday, so if you want to watch it, you need to get over there now. It is at www.pnp411.com/2020-workshop.

Corrine – You are my sister from another mister. I’m sassy and Irish and also drop a cuss word on the daily. There’s nothing wrong w/shedding tears and letting it out. Wait till Menopause. This shit is a f’n joy. I start tearing up in the grocery store when they play that sappy ass music. That’s a ploy to get depressed people to buy more food!! So, listening to you in the car last weekend, you were so emotional and you said “I could have lost weight ANY TIME I wanted to. But I wasted all those years. I had to lose the mental weight.” That has stuck in my head. ANY TIME you want to. ANY TIME. Thank you. 💪🏻
How do I get rid of the mental weight? I just can’t afford the tribe but need to journal and do the worksheets. Anyway I can get some access to the material
Saw your post and wanted to check out this program. While I appreciate your tears, and your journey, I relate to the issues you described and agree with “Tough Love”. But I find I’m cringing at your language. Just my personal reaction. Thank you for what you do and all those who need you and your program. Corinne, “Take Care of Yourself, ‘Cuz you’re Important”! I would love a picture of Kathy! Love listening, haven’t had music in my car for a month just podcasts. Wanting to put a face to her sweet voice. You compliment each other so beautifully. Couldn’t afford in this time, still recouping from Christmas but I’ll get next opening, saving my dollars!
Hello Corinne! I am so grateful to find your podcasts. Thank you for your no BS wisdom and truth about weight loss, and for all you share to help us with our journeys. 🙂
PS—I love your tall hair!
So encouraging! I love your frankness!
I would love to have Corinne as a life coach! Seriously one of the most genuine, straight shooting, & motivational speakers I’ve ever listened to!
I needed to hear this. 2019 has kicked my but. Clots in my lungs, my husband arrested and now single, and a TIA at the beginning of December. Now my anxiety is keeping me isolated. I lost 7 lbs. after the TIA this month, because it scared me…..now I’m back to the emotional eating you talked about. I’m knocking on 400 lbs. I couldn’t have the emergency MRI I needed with the TIA because of my size. I had to wait 3 weeks for an open MRI….it was clear. Now I’m waiting on a Neurologist appointment. My size is killing me. I feel alone, though I have people who would encourage me. They’ve been there in my rollercoaster of weightloss.
I planned today and ate less than planned. Even if it was Taco Bell.
I LOVE YOUR HAIR, Corinne…and YOU!!!!!
